OK, I believe in a god, or the God. I believe that he hears our prayers and is there for us. So I I’m not a Deist. I’ve read about New Ageism and I don’t think I fall there either, cos I don’t believe in most of it.
In short, yeah, I believe in God, but I don’t know much about him. But he is the creator. I like to meditate and listen to calm music. Oh yeah, I also believe in evolution. So what religion am I?

Its not about a label…its about the motive of our heart with God.
start with believing in God. learn more about him through the Bible. A New International Bible is easy to read (in todays language), one with study guide is helpful to understand the context. start with the book of John.
Pray for help…God says if you seek him with all your heart, he will reveal himself to you in your life and his truth. You see, he doesnt do this unless we have the right motive, love.
As your spirit matures through the bible, which is our spiritually daily bread. (we have to feed it for it to grow and mature, just like our physical bodies), more and more will be revealed to you.
Its a beautiful spiritual journey, because its personal between you and God and you will always find it lines up with his word. Be prepared for great changes in yourself and your life! I am still blown away by mine!

You can also check out the site of the Unitarian Universalists that let you ‘believe’ whatever you like and are committed to help people on their spiritual path.
