The sacred syllable OM is the primordial sound, the divine vibration of love within and without that permeates the whole Universe. For eons yogis have repeated and meditated on Om to experience the divine and attain the highest levels of human consciousness.

Chanting Om, Meditation on the 7 Chakras, is a very special recording. The sacred syllable Om is chanted in various notes, going up the scale. Each note corresponds to one of the 7 chakras or energy centers in the body. As the chakras are purified and awakened to their full potential through meditation and other spiritual practices, we experience vibrancy, health, happiness, peace and we ultimately merge into our true divine nature.

You can chant along with the recording or simply play it during meditation. When chanting or listening to Om the mind settles and calms down in a very natural way.

This version of Chanting OM, features the vocal improvisations of Ann Malone and Sarah Warwick, two beautiful yoginis who, along with a large group of practitioners, contributed to this project with an abundance of love.

The recording also includes two Savasana Sound Bath tracks, consisting of various healing sounds such as Tibetan Singing Bowls, Rain Sticks, Vocals, and Hang Drum, played by the very talented Ann Malone. These tracks are perfect to play at the end of a yoga practice or to simply listen to in order to experience deep relaxation.

The audio frequencies and colors in this video are for meditating and tuning the Anahata or the Heart Chakra (green).

The Heart Chakra is located on the spine in the area of the heart. It is associated with our ability to give and receive love, feel compassion and to reach out to others. It is the center of the Chakras, balancing the seven energy centers. Physically linked to heart, circulatory system, and immune system. Very important healing area. When out of balance, you may feel closed off to others, lack of self esteem, insecure, jealous, unloved and filled with self doubt.

Anahata is related to the thymus, located in the chest. The thymus is an element of the immune system as well as being part of the endocrine system. It is the site of maturation of the T cells responsible for fending off disease and may be adversely affected by stress. Anahata is related to the colours green or pink. Key issues involving Anahata involve complex emotions, compassion, tenderness, unconditional love, equilibrium, rejection and well-being. Physically Anahata governs circulation, emotionally it governs unconditional love for the self and others, mentally it governs passion, and spiritually it governs devotion.

SERIES NOTE:

We can’t all live in the Himalayas, and let’s face it, stress is in our lives and there is little time to get in tune with the world around us, the natural world we rush past. There is a solution though, and you are here because you know that solution: tuning/aligning the 7 Chakras, the “spinning wheels of energy.”

Balance can return into your otherwise chaotic life. Face it, humans are not supposed to live this way, totally detached from the natural world, shut off from reality. But we can have that contact again, for what are we ourselves if not natural beings? Getting in touch, in tune with your natural self, is within your grasp.

We, like all natural things, from the smallest single celled entity, to the universe itself, resonate on a frequency, exist within a frequency. And as with all natural things, different parts of us resonate at slight variations of that frequency.

We can get “out of tune” like a musical instrument, and in being out of tune, the world around us can seem resistant, and indeed it is. But in tune, with all our parts harmonizing with the other parts, suddenly the world itself will be in sync with us. Your drive down the freeway will feel different, standing in line, work; everything will feel different.

Like the strings of a harp, if they are not in tune, in the proper pitch, they will vibrate like an unbalanced wheel; but tuned, in the proper pitch, the strings will vibrate smoothly, waves touch each other, crossing over each other and back again, like fluid, like water in a stream passing softly over the pebbles it encounters along its path.

Chakras are wheels of energy, and they must be balanced. These videos will help you find that balance. You can’t just balance one, you must balance them all if you are to find synchronicity within yourself and the world around you.
